The new SAFETY 1ST Sentinel II  Convertible Car Seat is constructed with Air Protect Technology which provides superior head protection. This is done by slowly dispersing the energy forces in the event of a side impact collision. The SAFETY 1ST Sentinel II  Convertible Car Seat is designed so that it can be used with a newborn in the rear wood position for up to 12 months as it has a "Quick Adjust"  head rest allowing you to easily adjust the height of the Straps without any fuss as baby grows. The Sentinel simply provides  ease of use and peace of mind.
Includes: Removable newborn comfort insert, Shoulder pads, Anchor Fitting Bolt & Spacers, seat protector

Baby Mode - Rearward Facing from birth to approximately 12 months (Minimum 6 months and at least 9 kg) or until your babies shoulder reaches the lower height marker. The seat then needs to be converted  to forward Facing Mode
Toddler Mode - Forward facing from approximately 12 months to 4 years or from when your toddlers shoulders are in line with the lower shoulder height marker.

It is time to upgrade to a Convertible booster or a Booster when the child's shoulders reach or go above the highest shoulder height marker. 4 years of age is the minimum age for which a child can be upgraded straight to a 4-8 year booster.
